Job, Computer Help, and Much MORE @ Your Library
Writer's Workshop The Writer's Workshop meets the fourth (4th) Tuesday of every month inside of the Library meeting room from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. Successful authors and journalists like Del Cain and Kelly Christiansen attend this local workshop and help other writers with critique and writing exercises. If you are interested in attending this workshop, please call (817)230-0300 or visit the library's circulation desk and sign up so that you may receive a friendly reminder about the next meeting.
Adult Literacy & English as a Second Language (ESL)
If you cannot read you:
ESL and Adult Basic Education classes have started meeting at the Saginaw Public Library. If you know of anyone who needs help in either of these areas, please call the Adult Literacy/ESL Librarian, Janet Fick, at 817-230-0341 or email jfick@ci.saginaw.tx.us. The Library has ESL and Literacy teachers already trained and waiting for a student. The Literacy classes will be a one on one session (one student to one teacher), and will meet in the Library. The ESL classes will meet with 2-3 students to one teacher. The classes are free to the public. We also have RosettaStone software available at our library for ESL students to use.
